Today at Raven's Run Thomas asked, "Daddy, what is 5,000 plus 5,000?" I answered, "10,000." He thought about that for a moment and said, "So, that means 10,000 plus 10,000 would be 20,000?" I said yes. He then said, "...And 20,000 plus 20,000 would be 40,000... And 40,000 plus 40,000 would be 80,000." He is six years old.
